Youngstown City School District is a proud partner of Project MKC, a local organization dedicated to working with children and families to provide positive experiences and to equip children with everyday necessities enabling them to succeed
Every month, Project MKC supplies YCSD with 210 period packs for girls which are divided among schools for any scholar in need of hygiene products at home. The organization has also donated 200 hygiene kits to elementary schools that include everyday necessities like shampoo, lotion, soap, toothpaste, wipes, and undergarments. Another service Project MKC provides is distributing diapers monthly to any female scholar who has a child at home.
