Minnijean Brown-Trickey, one of the Little Rock Nine, visited the district throughout the week for Nonviolence Week. Today, she stopped by Harding Elementary for a meet and greet with scholars to talk about her experiences and to spread the message about the importance of kindness. Minnijean was one of nine African-American students who resisted the opposition to desegregating the Little Rock Central High School in 1957.
