Hola Fest Logo

It's been ten years since Youngstown has had a Hispanic Heritage Festival. But that all changed with the inaugural Hola Fest held on September 23 at the Covelli Center. The East High School baseball team and YREC scholars from Ms. Ramos' class (she also created the float!) helped kick off the event in a parade that honored Hispanic and Latino cultures worldwide. Thank you to all scholars, teachers, and staff for your support!

The festival was a part of the festivities that recognize Hispanic Heritage Month, a time when we celebrate the significant contributions, heritage, and culture of Hispanic and Latino Americans in the United States.
