Hello Taft Families,

Welcome to the 25-26 school year.  With over 30 years of experience in education, I start my second year as the principal at Taft.  I am as excited today as I was at the beginning of the 24-25 school year.  We at Taft are working hard with the help of each of you to make sure our scholars grow academically.  We want them to exceed their expectations.  Our universal expectations are recited throughout the day - Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe.   These expectations are not only expected in school but are valuable in everyday life. 

We have one year under our belt, so this year I can not wait to continue building relationships with our scholars and their families.  I can not wait to meet new families.  I can not wait to watch our scholars grow and achieve their goals.  Our scholars at Taft can achieve this and so much more.  There are some obstacles that they may encounter and by working together we can do all we can to overcome them.

This will be a peaceful, blessed and a year full of learning, building relationships and fun.  It can not be done without each of you.  Thank you for allowing the Taft family this opportunity to serve you and your scholars as we are PUTTING TAFT ON THE MAP.
