YCSD Food Service Director, Tascin Brooks, was honored at the Sunday, October 16, Cleveland Browns vs. Patriots gameas part of the Browns’ First and Ten Volunteer Movement. The initiative is designed to encourage and help individuals make a difference in their own communities.

Brooks is a Fuel Up to Play 60 volunteer, the nation’s leading youth wellness program empowering students, parents, and educators to work together to build healthier communities. During the height of the pandemic, Brooks and the Food Service team served over 2 million bagged meals to families. The team also operated food curbside distribution and drop-off sites at bus stops.

Thank you, Tascin and the entire Food Service department, for your service to our scholars and families.
