The Choffin Career and Technical Center was awarded a grant from the Kiwanis Club of Boardman-Youngstown, to go toward the operations of Choffin Express.

Choffin Express is a scholar-run grab-and-go Junior Achievement business operated under Laddie (Dave) Fedor, with assistance from the Business and Job Training Coordination programs.

Scholars receive first-hand experience with real-world job training and earn grades and course credit.

Kiwanis International is an organization committed to community service and philanthropy. Kiwanis members stage nearly 150,000 service projects, devote more than 6 million hours of service and raise almost $100 million yearly for communities, families, and projects.

Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Boardman-Youngstown for their ongoing generosity and support of Youngstown City Schools!
