Two scholars from Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary, placed in the youth category of the fine arts contest at the 176th annual Canfield Fair. Every year, thousands from all over the nation travel to the fair, one of the largest in Ohio.
MLK Visual Arts teacher, Christine Williams, submitted the artwork on behalf of district scholars. Awards went to second place winner Sydney, and honorable mention, to Jerni. Both entered beautiful paintings that were displayed in a gallery for the duration of the fair.
