The East High Alumni Association, a 501(c)3, is proud to launch our Brick Fundraiser Project—an opportunity to celebrate the rich legacy of Youngstown Public Schools while helping to build a brighter future for the next generation.
This initiative is more than just a fundraiser; it is a chance for alumni, families, and community members to leave a lasting mark. Each engraved brick represents pride, tradition, and a shared commitment to the success of our students. Together, we can honor the past while actively shaping what lies ahead. A wide variety of personalized logos are also available, including mascots from all former Youngstown public schools, such as North’s Bulldog or Rayen’s Tiger, etc.
The East High Alumni Association is dedicated to raising funds to assist and elevate the students of Youngstown High Defenders, while also bridging the gap between existing resources and the evolving needs of our youth. Our efforts are already making an impact. To name just a few projects, we proudly provide multiple scholarships each year to deserving students, helping them pursue their dreams beyond high school.
In addition, we are working to revitalize the booster organization to ensure our students have access to the resources they need to thrive—both academically and athletically. We are also launching mentoring programs that will bring alumni from all public schools and diverse professional backgrounds back into our classrooms. These mentors will inspire, guide, and expose students to opportunities they may not yet realize are within reach.
Looking ahead, we aim to support improvements such as updated scoreboards for our athletic programs and to help ignite broader community development initiatives that benefit not only our schools but the entire Youngstown area.
