In 1926, Dr. Carter G. Woodson launched the first week of recognition for Black History. Today, in 2026, we are proud to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this vital tradition! All month long, our schools and classrooms will spend the month of February highlighting programs and events that honor Black History. We look forward to sharing more!
