We were honored to host the inauguration of Youngstown's new Mayor, Derrick McDowell on January 1 at East High School. The ceremony featured several community leaders, including our Superintendent Jeremy Batchelor, who spoke on the importance of leadership and vision for our city and schools.
As a proud YCSD alumnus, Mayor McDowell is a true testament to the excellence within Youngstown City Schools. YCSD looks forward to a strong partnership with Mayor McDowell as we work together to support our scholars, our families, and the future of this great city.
