We are proud to announce the dedication of our brand-new Advanced Manufacturing Lab at Choffin Career and Technical Center.
This state-of-the-art space joins our Skilled Trades Academy, which includes Automotive Technology, Construction, and Welding.
Bringing together manufacturing programs from both East and Chaney, our Advanced Manufacturing program is designed to prepare scholars for the cutting-edge world of manufacturing technology. Scholars will work toward industry-recognized SACA (Smart Automation Certification Alliance) credentials.
Scholars will collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to tackle real-world challenges, developing not only technical knowledge but also critical 21st Century Skills such as problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity.
This is an exciting step forward in preparing our scholars for success in today’s evolving workforce, and we’re proud to offer them this opportunity right here at Youngstown City School District and Choffin.
