Youngstown City School District (YCSD) expresses our gratitude to the community for successfully passing the Emergency Levy Renewal at the November 7, 2023 election. Their support and belief in the value of education will allow us to continue our goal of providing an exceptional educational experience for scholars.

"It's inspiring to see our community unite for our scholars," said Youngstown Board of Education President Tiffany Patterson. "Our voters see the systematic changes and progress we are making, and the renewal helps ensure our schools are able to continue to provide the resources to support our scholars, teachers, and administrators in the YCSD. We are extremely grateful."

The passage of the Levy speaks volumes about the dedication the Youngstown community has toward the betterment of Youngstown City Schools. Dollars generated will fund integral day-to-day operational expenses such as utilities, bus fuel, classroom supplies, employing teachers, and keeping our buildings viable.

We extend our thanks to everyone who used their voice and greatly look forward to the positive impact these funds will have on the growth of our scholars and district.
