Youngstown City Schools kicked off its annual administrators and central office retreat on August 1. For the next week, staff will come together prior to the new school year for engaging professional development sessions focusing on data, storytelling through interpreting that data, and department updates for 23-24.
YCSD’s new Superintendent, Jeremy Batchelor, opened the retreat by reiterating the district’s successes, which include meeting specific academic benchmark goals, organizational structure, and his vision as the district moves to the future.
