As the 2022-23 school year has drawn to a close, Youngstown City Schools would like to extend our well wishes and gratitude.
A lot happens in a school year, and at YCSD, we’ve had plenty to celebrate and be proud of. We thank you for your support throughout the school year and willingness to invest in public education. It allows us to continue our core mission for educational excellence and the district’s vision for YCSD to be a model of success as an academic and community resource.
We encourage you to take the summer break to rest, recharge, and spend quality time with loved ones. We also hope you keep reading and learning, as the educational process is always ongoing.
YCSD will still operate over the summer with summer school and the Success by Six programs. The district will additionally be planning for the 2023-24 school year with many exciting things on the horizon.
