YCSD SELECTS TWO FOR DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL OFFICER AWARD

The Youngstown City School District is pleased to announce that two police officers, Malik Mostella and Doug Pesa, are the recipients of the Second Annual Distinguished School Officer Award. Officers Mostella and Pesa were among seven officers nominated by a school principal or staff member for the award. When tabulating points for the award, Mostella and Pesa were tied.
 

Services For Faith McCullough
Dear All YCSD Administrators and Staff:

Many of you have inquired about the calling hours and funeral services for Faith McCullough. Thank you for your sincere concern, prayers and assistance at this sorrowful time.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 17, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Lane Funeral Home, Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Avenue, Boardman, Ohio 44512.

Funeral services will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, on Tuesday, November 18, at 11:00 a.m.

For those who would like to donate money to help assist Faith's family with funeral and other expenses, a special fund has been set up. To learn more, click here.

East High School Receives Youngstown CityScape Beautification Watch Award

The Youngstown City School District is pleased to announce that the East High School Garden Club has been selected to receive a “Youngstown CityScape Eighth Annual Beautification Watch Award”. This award is presented to those who have taken the time to clean, green, and care for an area in the City of Youngstown.
